About the experience

Chile's Lake District, located on the northern tip of Patagonia, is famous for its alpine-inspired towns and spectacular scenery of deep blue mountain lakes, snow-capped volcanoes and lush forests.

The fist part of the trip will take us down the coast through Chiloé where we will meet with the locals and run on a network of trails along the coastal cliffs of the island all the way to the bay of Duhatao and the Cole Cole beach. The town of Castro will show us it’s rich history and culture and reward our runs with incredible local wine and chilean sea-food.

We will then set sail across the Chiloé Archipielago and the Gulf of Corcovado into the town of Chaitén.

Once on the other side, we set out up north on the world renowned Carretera Austral through the Pumalín, Hornopirén and Vicente Perez Rosales National parks.

We will finish the trip in the magical town of Puerto Varas we we will be rewarded with a well-deserved feast of local food and wine while enjoying the best views of the Osorno and Calbuco volcanoes.

Each day will be accompanied by yoga and meditation sessions led by our top yoga and meditation instructors, who will take us on a spiritual journey of inner peace and self-knowledge.

All of our trips are designed to welcome hikers and runners of all fitness levels. We will assign different guides to groups of different levels so that no one is left behind. You will feel safe and comfortable throughout the trip whether you're a professional runner that wants to add these runs to your training, an amateur who wants to explore the world of trail-running or a casual hiker who wishes to challenge him- or herself while enjoying nature in a secure environment.
