Discover The World Through Running.

Ep.5
"Running As a Tool To Change The World"

with Jordan Marie Daniel

“You can have an impact. It doesn’t have to be something grandeur or something incredible or very public for it to have an impact. (...) If you have something that you believe in, something that you’re passionate about and you believe in fighting for. If you believe in fighting for justice, just keep going for it, keep fighting for it, keep talking about it, and keep moving forward, because that, in the grand scheme of things, can make a much larger impact.” — Jordan Marie Daniel

Jordan Marie Brings Three White Horses Daniel is a Native American rights activist, as well as a talented distance runner. Jordan made headlines in 2019 when she ran the Boston marathon with a red hand painted across her face to bring awareness to Murdered and Missing Indigenous Women. Though this is the story she’s most well known for, Jordan’s activism goes much further. Join us as we discuss the importance of visibility, the impact of ignorance and how following your passion can lead to greater change than you might ever imagine.

We are thrilled to have had Jordan for this episode of Beyond Running.
