“You know, I wanted to sort of end on a note of just gratitude for you listeners. This is really a passion thing for everyone here on the team. And we have an amazing team. I'm just a small part of it. So, you know, I humbly just want to thank you and everyone who works on this and we're so excited for 2022, really.I hope that you are too. I hope that everyone out there is staying safe and healthy and enjoying the holiday season or the end of the holiday season. Thanks again, and we'll see you in the new year. Cheers. ”

For the end of year, we’re doing something different—our first solo episode. It’s a time of reflection and Alex looks back on his own story, how he connected with the Beyond Running Podcast, as well as his notes from the year and ambitions for the next one.
It’s a personal check-in we hope to make a tradition around here. Our roster of upcoming guests is stacked and we can’t wait to see you in the new year.
Enjoy!

About Alex
Alex Dickinson is a writer, runner, and a yoga and meditation teacher. He approaches running and yoga practice with a similar mindset—as ways to connect mind and body, explore internal and external landscapes, and simply feel better. He finds the pairing of the pursuits is greater than the sum of its parts. It’s his mission to share the gifts of these practices fairly and equitably, with a great deal of respect for the roots of the practice and those who have passed it down the generations.
