About this Getaway

Stretching out to the south of California, the Baja peninsula offers some of the most sought after beaches in the American continent.

Based out of Rancho Chivato, a conservation-focused, solar-powered ranch, this running and mindfulness getaway has been carefully designed to invite you to disconnect from the hurdles or everyday life, reset your energy levels and regain perspective.

Together with renowned spiritual guide and active trail-runner, Particia Baro, we have developed a dedicated Yoga, Meditation and Ayurveda* program containing the central elements for inner peace, self-knowledge and good living.

Through running, we will explore Baja California's mountains and beaches on a network of stunning single-track trails that will connect us to the different campsites within the ranch where our sessions and locally sourced, organic meals will take place.

After sundown we will relax and sit by the fire to enjoy Baja's emblematic starry nights.

*Before the trip you will be asked to fill out an Ayurveda questionnaire to help you find your Dosha.

Meet your mindfulness guide: Patricia Baro

Patricia is a certified Yoga teacher, meditation facilitator, Ayurveda therapist, mindfulness guide and trail runner. She has a health & wellness formation in Ayurveda medicine, Ayurveda and Yoga Principles for Yoga teachers.

She has taught yoga and meditation since 2011. She works with the intention to reconnect the human being with a deep sense of living and wellbeing in harmony, rebuilding the relationship between ourselves, nature and all our environment.

Patricia will be leading our daily meditation and Aryuveda program during this very special running and mindfulness getaway.

All of our trips are designed to welcome hikers and runners of all fitness levels. We will assign different guides to groups of different levels so that no one is left behind. You will feel safe and comfortable throughout the trip whether you're a professional runner that wants to add these runs to your training, an amateur who wants to explore the world of trail-running or a casual hiker who wishes to challenge him- or herself while enjoying nature in a secure environment.
